Medigames

The Medigames is an annual sporting event for medical professionals.

Over the course of a week, competitors from all over the world compete in more than 22 different sports and disciplines.

Created in 1978, the Medigames are based on the principle of Olympism: professionally organised events to share the values of fraternity and amateurism.

Alongside the competitions, an International Sports Medicine Symposium is being organised over 3 days. It brings together sportsmen and women and practitioners from all over the world to discuss and exchange views on issues relating to medicine and sport.

It is accredited by the EACCME (European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education) and co-chaired by :

Dr André Monroche, former President of the French Society of Exercise and Sports Medicine
Prof. Xavier Bigard, Medical Director of the International Cycling Union (UCI).
